Introduction

Who can remember what they dreamed about last night? Sometimes we dream about nice things and sometimes our dreams can be scary. Do you know that God sometimes speaks to people through their dreams? Let’s read a story in the Bible about a very important time when this happened.

Read Matthew 2:1-15

God, creator of the whole world, is the wisest of all. He knows all things. He knows what is best for each one of us. In this Bible passage, the wise men and Joseph relied on God’s wisdom that he shared through their dreams to do what was best. True wisdom is learning to trust in God and learning to listen to him and follow his teachings. We can do this by reading the Bible, praying and coming to church where we can learn more about him and how he wants us to live.
